The four-day program commenced with a lecture session at Avante Hotel, Petaling Jaya on March 12, 2024, followed by three workshop sessions at Arachem (M) Sdn Bhd from March 13 to 15, 2024. Despite being our inaugural dental workshop, the event was resoundingly successful and fruitful. A total of 27 enthusiastic veterinarians participated in the lecture session.
Dr. Anthony Caiafa, a distinguished Lecturer of Veterinary Science at James Cook University, Townsville, delivered an exceptional lecture, offering participants invaluable insights into periodontal disease management, extraction techniques to avoid complications, pain management, and X-ray techniques and radiographic interpretation. The primary objective of this event was to enhance participants' skills in veterinary dentistry.
25 veterinarians who attended the Feline and Canine workshops reported significant improvements in their skills, particularly in scaling and tooth extraction. With the utilization of cutting-edge iM3 GS Deluxe and iM3 GS Elite dental units equipped with ultrasonic scalers for dogs and cats, participants enjoyed a hands-on experience like no other.
