Steam ejectors make use of the venture principle to create a vacuum. Motive steam at high pressure and low velocity enters the inlet and exits at the design suction pressure and supersonic velocity, entraining the vapour to be evacuated. Nash has been designing and manufacturing steam jet air ejector systems since 1986. They are low in cost and can handle large volumes at very high vacuum levels.
